In October 2015 implementation of the project of academic mobility of Erasmus+ programme has started in frames of Inter-institutional agreement with Varna University of Management (Bulgaria). The project provides mobility of students and teachers.
Project period – 2015-2021.
Aim of selection is to identify and support talented and active 2nd and 3rd-year students for undergoing study abroad under the International Business and Management (BA IBM) programme and become familiar with modern foreign research and educational practices.

For students who have passed competitive selection participation in “Double Diploma” programme is offered under the agreement with Varna University of Management (VUM).
Upon successful completion of study, students receive:
- Specialist Diploma of Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives (Belarus);
- Bachelor’s Diploma of Varna University of Management (Bulgaria).
Criteria for the selection:
- citizenship of the Republic of Belarus;
- English proficiency minimum B1 level;
- academic performance;
- motivation;
- social activity.
Programme participants are selected by VUM commission on a competitive basis based after considering the results of an online interview.

March 26 – March 30, 2018 Rector of BTEU Lebedzeva Sviatlana and head of the International Relations Department Valynets Tatsiana completed an internship at Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) in frames of the project of academic mobility of the Erasmus+ programme. University representatives took part in trainings “Internationalization of Curricula”, “Management and Promotion of Double Degree Programmes”, and studied the experience of structural units responsible for international cooperation and implementation of double degree programmes.
During negotiations with the Rector of VUM prof. Todor Radev there was reached an agreement on implementation of academic mobility programmes, student exchange and a double/triple diploma programme (BTEU – Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) – Cardiff Metropolitan University (Great Britain).
Upon the completion of the internship certificates were received.
January 27 – May 20, 2018, students of BTEU Korobkina Aryna, Abramau Pavel and Usau Aliaksadr completed a training course at VUM in frames of obtaining the first level of higher education.
October 13, 2017 a Skype interview to determine the English language level proficiency was held with the participants of Erasmus+ Bulgaria project. The inteview was held by Director of International Cooperation of Varna University of Mnagement – Christina Armutlieva. According to results of the interview the following applicants were granted scholarships to study at Varna University of Management: Karobkina Aryna, Abramau Pavel and Usau Aliaksandr.
December 15, 2015 a Skype interview to determine the English language level proficiency was held with the participants of Erasmus+ Bulgaria project. The inteview was held by Director of International Cooperation of Varna University of Mnagement – Christina Armutlieva. According to results of the interview the following applicants were granted scholarships to study at Varna University of Management: Snitko Darya, Martsiushova Anastasiya and Babyna Katsiaryna.
