The idea of the project is intensifying of youth entrepreneurship in the context of European integration both within countries and between the Eastern Partnership countries and the European Union with use of the experience of creating successful business models in the Eastern Partnership countries.
Aims of the project:
– strengthening of transnational cooperation between education, science and business;
– increasing the international aspect of entrepreneurial education;
– transfer of the best business practices in the context of European integration, as well as the implementation by the business sector of opportunities for European integration in partner countries;
– improving of competences and entrepreneurial skills among young people in partner countries.
Objectives of the project:
– organization of the network of centers for training and supporting youth entrepreneurship at higher education institutions in the countries of the European Union and the Eastern Partnership;
– study of the experience of doing business in the partner countries of the project;
– development of training course on the specifics of doing business in the context of European integration in partner countries and its implementation in the curricula of partner universities;
– creation of online platform for communication, exchange of the best practices, search for potential business partners between young entrepreneurs and centers for training and supporting youth entrepreneurship at higher education institutions of partner countries;
– exchange of knowledge, experience and successful practices of youth entrepreneurship in partner countries.
NEWS
September 10–12, 2018 International seminar “Problems and Prospects of Youth Entrepreneurship in Armenia and Georgia” was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgia) during which participants exchanged best practices in the field of youth entrepreneurship. All project partners took part in the seminar, as well as, guests from universities of Ukraine and Georgia. Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives was represented by the institutional project coordinator Dean of Faculty of Qualification Improvement and Personnel Retraining, PhD in Economics, associate professor Trusevich I.V. and assistant of institutional project coordinator, associate professor of the Department of Global and National Economics, Yatsevich N.V.
September 13-14, 2018 International Scientific and Practical Conference “Youth Entrepreneurship in the Eastern Partnership Countries: Formation of Experience and Development Prospects” was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. BTUE representatives made presentations at the plenary session of the conference.
September 8-15, 2018 organizational partner meetings of the project “Higher education institutions for youth entrepreneurship”/HEIFYE were held. Project partners discussed organizational issues of project implementation, work plan and the schedule of the follow-up activities.

May 15-17, 2018 a working meeting of partners of the project “Higher educational institutions for youth entrepreneurship”-HIEIFYE, as well as workshop “Aspects of the development of youth entrepreneurship in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova” was held at Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives. The workshop was attended by institutional representatives of project partner-universities, as well as, by other educational institutions of Belarus and Russia. Issues of state and prospects of youth entrepreneurship development in the participating countries were discussed in frames of workshop.
February 19, 2018 a video conference of partners of the HEIFYE project took place. Partners from Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia and Latvia took part in the videoconference.
Partners discussed the development of a training course on peculiarities of conducting business in partner countries in the context of European integration, as well as plan of implementation of the first year of the project and current issues of project implementation.
