ERASMUS+ Latvia (academic mobility project)

In October 2016 implementation of the project of academic mobility of Erasmus+ programme has started in frames of Inter-institutional agreement with Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia). The project provides mobility of students, masters and teachers.

Project period – 2016-2021.

Criteria for the selection:

  • citizenship of the Republic of Belarus;
  • English proficiency minimum B1 level;
  • academic performance;
  • motivation;
  • social activity.

December 28, 2017 Aigars Andersons – dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia) conducted a lecture on the topic “Development of International Business” for students of specialty Global Economics.
Aigars Andersons visited Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives  in frames of Erasmus+ academic mobility project.

November 25 – December 4, 2017 senior Lecturer of the Department of Global and National Economics Olga Maksimchikova completed an internship at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in frames of Inter-institutional agreement of the Erasmus+ programme.
Educational programmes of
Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences on training of specialists in the Global Economics, pedagogical aspects of teaching in higher education institutions in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process were studied during the internship.
As well, a meeting  with teachers and students of
Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences with  presentation of Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives and the Republic of Belarus was held.

October 12, 2016 an interview with applicants of Erasmus+ project was held to determine the level of proficiency in English.
According to the results of the interview the following participants were selected for study at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences:
Korobkina Arina – student of group M-21 – II semester of 2016/2017 academic year.
